As a certified Career Coach and Brand/PR Strategy Expert, my role was to facilitate and guide discussions with two large groups on what to think about when you want to change career direction and how best to go about navigating that change. People came to the topic for a wide variety of reasons. Many loathed all or a significant part of the work they were doing, instead wanting to break away and only focus on the one or two areas they really enjoyed. Others had absolutely no interest any longer in a particular field and wanted to completely change arenas.
