The Emotional Rollercoaster-A Storytelling Ride

Image
Here are some stories and musings on love and wisdom:-   One lesson is enough for a lifetime The disciple asks the Guru, "There are so many lessons to learn in life. Sometimes I get confused what to learn and what not to." The Guru says, "It depends whether you want to learn many lessons at a shallow level or just one lesson deeply. It depends upon whether you are an extensive or intensive learner." The Guru adds further, "If you choose a higher lesson like wisdom, empathy or unconditional love, you need to practice it for a lifetime to truly imbibe it. And then, one lesson is enough for a lifetime." ------------------ One More Emotion 'Unconditional' I met an interesting laughter teacher today. He taught me a new lesson, "Laugh unconditionally for few minutes every day. Laughter is contagious and you can't enjoy it in solitude." ------------------- The Emotional Rollercoaster And the s...

Hi from Planet Utopia

Image
I have shifted to ‘Planet Utopia’ and to Earthlings, I am an Alien now When I used to stay on ‘Planet Earth’, I felt a strong need for Personal Branding. So I have shifted to, ‘Planet Utopia’ recently. Here I do not feel the need for personal branding because people are divine and completely evolved. You can also say that they have reached complete enlightenment as they understand your value proposition and what you stand for without you telling them.  Let me give you few examples:- No Personal Growth Required - The decisions of Utopians are not impacted by their emotions or bias. (This is unlike human beings who cannot be completely unbiased). In fact, personal growth is a dead industry here, as everyone is already completely enlightened and divine. Complete Authenticity - People have no fears. The law and order is 100 % perfect and you can afford to be completely authentic because everyone is, so understanding ( Poor You! I know, being compl...

Twitter and the Dictator-A Humourous Story

Image
Once upon a time, there was a small island called “Euphoria.” It was a small and peaceful country and the citizens lived a life of bliss. Not only the literacy rate was 100 %, even the social media literacy rate was 100 % too. Everyone was especially fond of Twitter. One day the democratic government was thrown out in a coup and the Dictator Hellonavich took over and declared himself as the President. Keeping in mind, the popularity of Twiiter, Hellonavich issued the following President’s order to the citizens:- President’s Order (to residents of Euphoria) All citizens must comply with the following regulations, else they shall be sent on exile. 1)      All citizens must follow the President on Twitter @Hellonavich. Even infants should have a Twitter account (managed by the parents). The number of Followers would be used for census purposes and anyone who does not follow will be treated as a rebel. 2)      All citi...

Offbeat Jokes

Offbeat Jokes (By Dr Amit Nagpal) The husband told his wife, "You love me with lower consciousness, that’s why you are insecure, jealous, possessive...My love is of higher consciousness, that’s why I love you and all the women.....and of course all the men of the world." He is crying, his beloved Dog has gone to the God. I am crying, my beloved God has gone to the Dogs. She has brought so much light to my life that I think I need to apply the sunscreen Yes my dear I love you, at least I care for you, when I forget to care, I mostly give you a call, even when I forget that, I do come home and say goodnight (frank message from husbands to wives) God created a woman and then fell in love. then had a doubt, can god marry a human? While God is still wondering man is blundering. ‎ 3 rules of traditional Indian companies Rule 1 Boss is always right, Rule 2 If ever in doubt refer to rule 1, Rule 3 When you become the boss get the best out of the above 2 rules F...

Laughing at Myself series; I -My Monkey Mind

Image
Excess of everything is bad including excess of goodness and excess of intelligence. These days, I am really tired of my Monkey Mind. One moment this monkey mind is in the past, next in the future and if forced, then only it is back to the present moment. Bloody hell! it is always looking for an excuse (the way MBAs look for an excuse to jump from one job to another) to jump from past to future, one idea to another, jumping from India to US, from US to France and then from France to Pondicherry city, from Pondicherry to New Delhi. Oh my God, how can someone hop so fast? It can jump from East to West as if there was no culture and climate difference. Now I understand why it is going bonkers. After all, how can one adjust so quickly from the London chill to the Delhi heat, it’s not even taking time to acclimatize? The funniest part is even when I am writing an article on, “Living in the moment,” it just notices the word moment and jumps to remember some beautiful moments of the ...
